Neil Abramson
Neil Abramson has dedicated over three decades to animal rights and welfare, working pro bono on related legal issues. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Animal Legal Defense Fund and was recognized by the ASPCA for his contributions to animal legal work. Additionally, he was a founding member of the New York City Bar Association Committee on Legal Issues Relating to Animals.
Abramson published his debut novel, Unsaid, in 2011, which was a USA Today bestseller. It received critical acclaim for its exploration of human-animal bonds and the ethical dilemmas surrounding animal rights. His second novel, Just Life, released in 2016, further examines these themes within the context of public health and community ethics.
Abramson, born in the Bronx, New York, in 1964, graduated from the Cornell School of Industrial and Labor Relations and earned his law degree from Northwestern University. He is a nationally-recognized partner at a prominent New York City law firm.
He currently resides in New York with his wife, a veterinarian, and their beloved family of two human children and a diverse group of rescue animals.
